The Delightful Diwali!

Devotees are so close to Hanuman that, they were came to temple before the morning dawn on this diwali to dharshan Ashtamsa Varadha Hanuman in Muthangi Sevai.
As the bell rung, it gains attention of devotees saying that Hanuman is ready to give dharshan, with hands folded in prayers, keeping eyes, heart & mind open we had deepa aradhana of the Deity.

The thought evoking words of Sri Narayana Bhattar adds more spark to the Diwali.
Sri Narayana Bhattar has narrated How Ganga bath on Diwali is considered important in those days, the emanate of Ganga from the Lotus feet of Supreme Lord Sri Vishnu, How the Lord Shiva accepts the Acrimonious Ganges from the left foot Thumb of Vishnu & gives its from his Head as agreeable river to the Earth so that the speed of the river does not destroys the world. The Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers which confluences to form Ganga was compared with the Strict mother-in-law & soft daughter-in-law, their good Relationship in those days, a weeklong preparation of homemade sweets which adds real Flavor to the Diwali etc. Bhattar has made us realize How far we have moved from such glorious Rich tradition.

With sophisticated Technology & readymade solutions available we are living a lifeless life. We have lost our Glorious past, but we should not give a faded future to our posterity.

We enjoyed the Muthangi Sevai Alankar of Deity with the hope of preserving our precious Festivals, Foods, Rituals, Language & Literature.

Many thanks for Sri Narayana Bhattar for giving information to our intellect, deity’s dharshan to our eyes & smiles to our face.

Sitapati Ramachandra Prabhu Ki Jai !
Pavanusuta Hanumanu Ki Jai !

~With hope of worshipping Ganga in future
