God only wants the flower of your heart that is filled with humility and devotion. Eight types of flowers can be offered to God, namely, (1) Non-violence (Ahimsa), (2) Control of senses (Indriya Nigraha),(3) Compassion towards all beings (Sarva Bhuta Dhaya), (4) Truth(Satyam), (5) Meditation (Dhyanam), (6) Peace (Shanti), (7) Humility (Vinaya) and (8) Devotion (Bhakti). In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna has referred to 'Pathram, Phalam, Pushpam, Thoyam'(leaf, fruit, flower or water) that can be offered to God. 'Pathram' means offering yourself as a leaf. Flower is your heart, 'Hridaya Pushpam'. 'Phalam' is the fruit of your mind. 'Thoyam' refers to the tears of joy welling up within you from a sincere and prayerful heart. God is pleased when any one of these is offered with sincere devotion.
